From The Principal's Desk

It's a matter of great privilege for me to share my thoughts and feelings with you. Our college has history of more than 60 years. Today we are in the 21 st century and we have to face new challenges so I appeal to the students to make maximum use of college facilities to shape their career.

After more than 35 years of experience and duties in the academic, it is a great honor to work as a Principal in the Shri Shivaji Mahavidyalaya, Barshi. The college is affiliated to Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Solapur University, Solapur and has good support of the Management. Quality education and student support facilities provided by the college are excellent hence students are desired goals in the University examinations, Youth Festivals, Avishkar Research Festivals, and Various Competitive Examinations as well as in their personal life. The Vision of college is, “Education for the downtrodden” and to realize this vision, the college management has been taking painstaking efforts by counselling them. Over the decades, the college has been trying to augment infrastructure and auxiliary educational facilities so as to enable students to become globally fit.

The college provides maximum facilities for curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. The college takes feedback from the students, the alumni, parents, the teachers and the employees and all stakeholders as well as conducts students’ satisfaction surveys. After collection of these reports, analysis is carried out which is useful to improve quality in educational culture on the campus. I welcome parents and students and ensure quality education. We always remember vision and mission of the institute at the time of providing education to rural masses and backward classes of society.
