Yashwantrao Chavan Central Library:
With the establishment of Shri Shivaji Mahavidyalaya, Barshiin the year 1960s the department of Library was also established. Over the year many intellectual teachers with their helping hands increased the quality ratio of the library. Mostly the rare books and various reference books which are very much rare are in the library. College library has much space and very ideal and educational environment for all the users. The green space ground the library makes it conspicuous achievements of library. Library is having built up area 25000 Sq. Feet.
The college library has the largest academic library in West Maharashtra region with 93506 books for the senior faculty 39280 books for the junior faculty and 10044 books purchased under UGC and there are 525 bound volumes. The library subscribes to several national and international journals. The library provides open access to the PG students the UG students are issued books throughout a week on demand. Library automation: The library is automated since 2016 and presently e-Granthalaya3.0 (eG3) Rev.No. 32 (National Information Centre, New Delhi). Software with 10 computers for administrative and circulation activities with internet access is setup. The Books and students' identity cards are barcoded. Surveillance cameras are installed. Digital attendance software facility provided for student and staff.
Open Public Access Catalogue (OPAC): OPAC facility with three computers for UG and PG student is provided. Library’s efforts for providing access to digital content: Over 6000 e journals and over 31 lakh e-books are made accessible through N-List service of INFLIBNET. Digital Learning Resource Access Centre (DLRAC): Eighteen node-DLRAC with internet access.
