Department Of Psychology

The Psychology Department at Shri Shivaji Mahavidyalaya,Barshi was established in 1969 and currently offers two programs B.A. I and B.A. II. The department is supported by One faculty member. A MoU has been signed with Ayush Hospital Barshi, enabling the department to offer a certified course “Child Psychology” as part of a joint initiative. The department has organized several workshops for students to enhance their learning experience. 1.Vice Care 2. Stress relief 3. Research Methodology. Faculty members actively contribute to various committees, including serving as Chairman of the Board of Studies Psychology (BOS) at Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Solapur University,Solapur. Member of Academic Council, RRC and DRC. Students of the department participate enthusiastically in co-curricular activities such as Traditional Day, Shivyug celebrations, and Social Science Association.
